The cabbage soup diet is okay if you want to lose a quick few pounds,for a special
occasion or if you want to boost an existing diet that that you are already on but
if you only do the cabbage soup diet for it's 7 period without reverting to a
mainstream balanced diet then be prepared to possible regain any weight you have
lost lost once you end this diet.
Another word of warning: - Never do the cabbage soup diet beyond a 7 day period
and stay well clear of this diet if you are a post- natal dieter.
Howe ever if you are braver than I ever was then here is a typical example of a cabbage soup diet plan
Day One:
Day one of the cabbage soup diet allows you to stuff yourself with as much fruit
as you want (except bananas).
Eat only you cabbage soup and the fruit for the first day. For drinks- cranberry juice,
water and unsweetened teas.
Day Two:
Vegetables: Again you can eat until you are stuffed will all cooked or raw fresh,
vegetables of your choice. You should do your best stay away from peas, corn and dry
beans, and try to eat as much leafy green vegetables as possible, and of course as
much soup as you want. For dinner, reward yourself with a big baked potato with
butter. It is important that you Do not eat fruit on this day.
Day Three:
Day three is slightly different from day one and two because today you mix Days One and Two:So! Today you eat both fruit and vegetables with your soup, but No Baked Potato.
Day Four:
Skimmed milk and Bananas: You can eat as many as eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day, along with your soup. Day four is supposed to reduce your desire for sweets.
Day Five:
Tomatoes and Beef: Ten to twenty ounces of bee five can be consumed on day and up to six fresh tomatoes. It is important that you drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of spring water to eliminate an uric acid build-up inyour body. Eat your cabbage soup only once this day. If you don't like beef then you can replace it with broiled or baked chicken instead (but make sure you don't eat any chicken skin). Many people however substitute broiled fish for the beef/chicken.
Day Six:
Beef and Vegetables: Eat as much as you want of beef/chicken/fish and vegetables today. No Baked Potato. But you must eat your soup at least once.
Day Seven:
Vegetables, brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices: Once again stuff, stuff, stuff yourself. But don't forget to eat cabbage your soup at least once this day.
